Cookie Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Not Your Normal Christmas Light Show ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on notyournormalchristmaslightshow.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with ourPrivacy Policy and Terms And Conditions.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and requests to other companies' servers for maps, fonts or videos, work in much the same way. We use the word "cookies" for all of them in this policy. Some are set by us ("first-party"); others are set by the services we use ("third-party").
2. Your Choices
When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you Accept All, Reject All, orManage Preferences. You can change your mind at any time using the link at the bottom of every page. We keep your choice for 12 months, then ask again.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of marketing cookies. The Site does not use marketing cookies in any case.
- Browser controls: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as the contact form, from working.
Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not affect anything collected before you changed your choice.
3. Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary are required for the Site to work and to keep it secure, including protecting it from attacks and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
Functional features are the directions map, the local light show map and the video player. They are on unless you turn them off. If you turn them off, the maps and videos are replaced by a note with a Cookie Settings button (you can still use the Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze buttons, or watch on YouTube).
The Site does not use analytics or marketing cookies.
