Terms And Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of notyournormalchristmaslightshow.com (the "Site"), run by the Miller family as Not Your Normal Christmas Light Show ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including submitting false information, sending spam or unsolicited sales offers through our contact form, attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping, or interfering with its operation.
2. Information on the Site
The show is a free family project. We work to keep show dates, hours, the radio station and the stream link accurate, but they are provided for general information and may change without notice, for example because of weather or equipment problems. Please follow the show etiquette on the Site and local traffic laws when you visit, and be respectful of our neighbors.
Information about other local light shows is provided as a courtesy. We do not run those shows, and their dates, hours and details may change.
3. Messages and Projects
By sending a message through the contact form you agree we may reply by email or, if you give us your number, by phone. A message about a Max Danger Construction project or an internship does not create a contract or an offer; any work is agreed separately and directly.
4. Donations
Donations for Compass Church's foster care ministries are made through Compass Church's own Church Center giving page and go directly to the church. We do not take payments on the Site, and the church's own terms apply to your gift.
5. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy andCookie Policy, which describe what we collect and how to manage your choices. You can change cookie preferences at any time using the link at the bottom of every page.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site's content, including text, photos, videos, show programming and design, belongs to Not Your Normal Christmas Light Show or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission, except to view and print pages for personal use and to share links to the Site. Songs used in the show belong to their respective owners.
7. Song Requests and Submissions
If you send us a song request, photo, video or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in connection with the show, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site links to and uses third-party services (for example the PulseMesh audio stream, maps, YouTube, social media, Compass Church's giving page and our sponsors' websites). We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in McLean County, Illinois.
13. Accessibility
We want the Site to be usable by everyone. If you have trouble accessing any part of it, send us a message and we will help.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date shows the latest version; continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
